(Via Heliogenic Climate Change). Fewer severe tropical cyclones around the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico when sunspot numbers are high is the basis of the relationship between hurricanes and solar activity.

While the rest of the world will be plunged into complete chaos due to man-made global warming, a new report suggests that India will feel little impact from the coming climate crisis. You see, India can do what the rest of the world cannot: adapt to change. So while the rest of us are trying to extract usable water from mud in order to drink, India will be living the high life with caviar and sparkling beverages because they know how to adapt.

Installing white roofing materials instead of the traditional brown, gray or black, will help in the fight against global warming, according to the LA Times. (Note: after repeated attempts to rename this man-made crisis “climate change”, one of the country’s largest newspapers continues to refer to it as global warming.) Lighter materials reflect heat better than dark materials. The LA Times might be on to something here. Maybe we could repave all roads with a lighter material so that we wouldn’t have to give up meat or change our light …

(H/T: Doug Powers). Remember how cloth diapers went out of style once disposable diapers were commercially available? Well now what was old is new again. Introducing reusable toilet wipes. Just wipe and wash. Never worry about running out of toilet paper again or, gasp, having to limit yourself to the Sheryl Crow method of one-square-per-use. Enjoy the freedom of having your very own reusable potty wipes.

Barack Hussein Obama has changed his position on domestic drilling. The United States Senator said Friday that he would endorse drilling off the coast of Florida if it meant winning approval for broad energy changes. Is the Presidential hopeful and believer in the global warming hoax for real, or is this a ploy to get votes as this is a hot-button issue with Americans?

Ireland says that it can’t meet the 2020 greenhouse gas emissions cuts dictated by the European Union unless “lunatic draconian” measures were put in place. Ireland is only one of three countries asked by the EU to cut emissions by 20% of 2005 levels.

(H/T: Tom Nelson). A mathematical proof that climate change is a hoax appeared yesterday in a peer-reviewed paper Physics and Society. 30 equations used by the IPCC were demonstrated and showed that even doubling the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for the rest of the century only caused a one degree Fahrenheit increase in temperatures, not the predicted six degrees. The IPCC’s 2007 climate summary over predicted carbon dioxide’s impact on temperature between 500% and 2000%. The reactions of the IPCC and Al Gore were not printed in …

Michelle Malkin has tracked down the things that liberals like that hurt the environment. Smoking pot, for instance, which releases carbon dioxide and carcinogens into the environment. How about protest marching (they make the signs out of paper and wood, killing trees in the process) as well as the carbon emitted from the vehicles used to transport themselves to the protest location. Malkin always brings insightful commentary, and this is no exception.

Al Gore doesn’t give interviews unless the interviewer has been screened. Nor does he take questions from the public. It only seems fitting that someone that conducted an interview with the ex-veep made a point of dissecting his global warming diatribe and has compiled a list of his errors.

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Mainstream Media »
I recently read an article (link no longer active) over at The Aviator Newspaper that really summed up the media coverage in this country on the global warming myth today. It’s a chase to blame any type of weather event on global warming, regardless of whether or not it’s actually true.
I’ve said before on this blog that Hurricane Katrina was the poster child of the global warming movement in this country today. Katrina, hardly the most powerful hurricane to strike the mainland U.S., was a category three storm when it …
