Time once again for this week’s edition of the Daily Bayonet’s Global Warming Hoax Week-in-Review. This week’s version promises to be one of the best yet. Here’s a preview of what you’ll read:
Now that the global warming hoaxers have charged deniers with being funded by big oil, Canada’s own David Suzuki is claiming anti-wind folks are funded by big nuclear.
Warming zealots around the world are celebrating the Obama win this week in the U.S. But I thought global warming was about science and not politics?
Censorship …

(H/T:  Gore Lied).  What kind of moronic events have taken place this week with the global warming hoax?  From Obama declaring air a pollutant to polar bears not quite being as threatened as they used to be, there’s some interesting stuff over at Planet Moron.  Click the link below to read.

Having the face of global warming be represented by soft and cuddly polar bears isn’t good enough.  Penguins have been added to the list as endangered birds whose population - from one-half to three-quarters - face decline or extinction due to global warming if the global temperature jumps two degrees Celsius.  The WWF bodyslammed a lack of agreement among nations to fight climate change and urged that a new deal be reached to succeed the Kyoto Protocol to help save the penguins.  From the article:

CNN has really outdone themselves this time. Remember hearing about how global warming was causing polar bear cannibalism recently in the news? Turns out, thanks to an article here by Anthony Watts, that the one documented occurrence happened in northern Alaska in 2004. Talk about recycling old news to push an agenda!

Has it been a week already?  Time for this week’s installment of The Daily Bayonet’s Global Warming Hoax Weekly Round-Up.  In this episode, Al Gore has more problems than he can shake a hockey stick at with taking heat over his houseboat, the possibility that he’ll get sued for fraud and a bank that housed a carbon trading desk went kaput.  Tom Nelson uncovers a junior indoctrination camp and polar bears for Obama?  Plus, the global warming hottie of the week gave me a sudden craving for a royale with …

Dee Norris provides a play-by-play of a recent conversation with children, including her daughter, about global warming.  What follows is a conversation full of Gore talking points about carbon dioxide, polar bears and, at the heart of the matter, a film that taught them everything they knew about global warming.

It just doesn’t get any better than this.  Climate change scientists on an expedition to the polar regions of Earth were given a crash course in shooting and a rifle in the event of a polar bear attack.  Two problems with this:  one, if the debate is over, why are we still drilling for core samples from the poles to study the climate over the last 100,000 years and two, if polar bears are the poster children of global warming, why even disturb their habitat because of reason number one?

Well, not really…
It seems that a polar bear did recently die after having swam 200 miles.  The polar bear didn’t drown, though.  He made it to land only to be shot to death in Iceland as they were fearful that it would be a threat to humans.

Global warming is blamed for many things these days.  The polar bear population is shrinking.  The ice caps are melting.  Al Gore is getting rich off investments in green energy investments.  So it’s no big surprise that the planet’s water is being blamed squarely on climate change.  Earlier in the week, Governor Schwarzenegger declared that California was in a drought.  But other parts of the country are experiencing normal to above-average precipitation.  Maybe it’s overpopulation that’s causing the problem and not global warming.
