Although Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama represent vastly different segments of the American population, their positions on climate change are not that dissimilar.  Both men feel that President Bush’s stance on emissions cuts and dependence on fossil fuels is weak and they pledge to do more to fight global warming.

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Government Intervention »

[23 Jun 2008 | One Comment | 269 views]

A few weeks ago, the U.S. Senate shot down the Lieberman-Warner bill with, quite frankly, little show of emotion from the Democrats and Republicans that supported the legislation to combat the global warming hoax.  With such a looming crisis on our hands, and with such dire consequences predicted if we don’t change the course of our carbon-emitting ways, why was there such little fight in a bill that was supposedly so important to the direction of our nation?  Even the (then) three Presidential candidates - Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton and …

Good morning, folks, and welcome to the Global Warming Week-in-Review.
Sunday, May 11th:
10ksnookers.blogspot.com provided some interesting commentary on carbon credits and the cap-and-trade system, saying that it’s just a government-sanctioned ration on goods and services?  How?  Both systems limit the total amount of greenhouse gas that can be emitted into the atmosphere, which results in a limit of how much of a good or service can be produced without going over that limit.  Remember the gas lines of the 1970’s?  If this keeps up, expect to see lines for more than …

Elections, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

[14 May 2008 | No Comment | 12 views]

No matter how you look at it, skeptics of the global warming hoax are destined to lose in November in the United States.
Both remaining U.S. presidential candidates, John McCain and Barack Hussein Obama, are staunch supporters of the global warming hoax. The only difference between the two is how badly they will crush the economy as both have very liberal tendencies to use taxes to solve a problem that doesn’t exist.
John McCain has proposed a cap-and-trade system which would seek to return to 2005 emissions levels by 2012, 1990 …

Want to see where the remaining presidential candidates, and Hillary, stand on energy and environmental issues? While both, and Hillary, support a cap-and-trade system, the Democratic frontrunners support a more aggressive approach to cutting carbon emissions

Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama are both cooling to biofuel use as food prices skyrocket and the dire predictions of global warming fail to materialize, even as the planet’s carbon dioxide levels continue to increase. Michigan received it’s deepest snowfall in 50 years and some of the Great Lakes are near record high water levels. While this may only be a temporary measure just for electability, let’s hold these candidates to their words come …

Welcome, everyone, to the weekly global warming hoax news round-up.
Sunday, April 27:
In a very inconvenient truth for global warming activists around the globe, it was revealed that 30% of our corn crop goes to the production of ethanol.  To give a representation of the inefficiency of corn-based ethanol, it takes 450 pounds of corn to fill a 25 gallon fuel tank.  I’d call that inefficient.  As if that level of inefficiency wasn’t scary enough, the global warming crowd is scaring us back into the stone age.  The public’s fear of …
