Economy, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »
It seemed for a while that the global warming activists had the upper hand on us over the summer. Even after foot riots broke out across the country as the price of consumables jumped significantly and shortages popped up around the globe, the pressure was still on from environmentalists everywhere to invest in green technologies. The price of oil didn’t help matters at all; I’m sure climate change advocates across the globe were salivating as they watched the price of oil climb to $140+ per barrel. It certainly seemed that, …

Back when the news broke about rising food prices due, in part, to ethanol production to save the planet from global warming, I mentioned that the poor was the hardest hit. Today, the MidKnight Review blog explores some other issues where the poor may be the hardest hit in the struggle to curtail global warming. With many around the globe struggling just to feed themselves and their families each day, how can they react to the price of goods that are eco-friendly? Green homes cost more than traditional homes. Green …

This article from Read More: FromTheDuke.Blogspot.com points out the hypocrisy of the environmentalist movement from unnecessarily rallying to ban DDT to using scare tactics to forgo the development of nuclear plants to global warming, which is causing food prices to soar and people to riot over food. When environmentalists talk about standards, it’s a one-way street and all roads lead back to what’s good for their agenda.

Finally the Democrats are waking up to the problem they caused due to the global warming hoax: soaring food prices and starvation from ethanol mandates. Thanks to most of the liberals, and some of the conservatives, including President Bush, who signed a mandate to increase ethanol use, the poor can no longer afford food and riots are happening in the streets of countries across the globe. Corn, the most-used ingredient in ethanol, has risen in price from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel over the last three years. Corn …

The ecolibs are beginning to back off their biofuel stance now that they (finally) realize that it’s causing food shortages and riots. Even with Al Gore’s initiative cause so much pain to the world, he still refuses to debate the subject.

The price of rice has tripled and riots over food are breaking out in Bangladesh and Haiti. American companies have begun rationing the sale of some staple items. This article says that the new increased price of food is here to stay. To help reduce the price of food, why aren’t the environmentalists called to task and asked to stop with this biofuel debacle?

Gore cast the tie-breaking vote to increase ethanol in gasoline for smog-filled cities in 1994. Some of the comments for those who voted for the bill include Senator Paul, who said the price of corn flakes wouldn’t be affected. With corn prices on the rise, I beg to differ. Thanks to Gore, riots over food are breaking out and starvation is a real possibility.

On Sunday we learned that the leading scientist that linked the increase and intensity of hurricanes has since backed off that position. He has developed a new model that says there will be a moderate increase or decrease in hurricanes over the next two centuries.
Monday provided another blow to Al Gore’s global warming myth as the MIT scientist that claimed Hurricane Katrina was caused by global warming, Kerry Emanuel, has also backed off his position and has said that hurricanes will decrease over the next two centuries. It …

Even the environmentalist whackos are starting to question the use of biofuels now that food riots are occurring and prices are skyrocketing.

More coverage of the ethanol backlash from Mark A. Rose’s Right Minded blog. It’s funny that the liberals pushing this global warming agenda think they’re saving humanity from disaster while all along they’re causing riots in the streets. It’s sad because the poor have a real chance to starve, but again, the left-leaning environmentalists fail to see, or they blatantly ignore, the big picture.
