(H/T: Tom Nelson). NBC’s Meredith Vieira said Sunday night during the Redskins-Cowboys NFL game that sea level could rise 200 feet if all of the glaciers melted. Of course, this isn’t even close to actual predictions of sea level rise if indeed global warming was a serious problem. But with NBC promoting green week, the fear-mongering continues and nobody calls them out.

Proponents of global warming activism have predicted many places to be underwater due to rising sea levels caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions. The Maldives are no exception. The islands are slated to be covered in water by 2100 if the upper-end of the IPCC’s predictions about sea-level rise are true; the IPCC predicts that sea level could rise anywhere from 3.5 to 35 inches by 2100. But other research indicates that sea level hasn’t risen at all over the last decade. Present sea level was …

Carbon Tax, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

The liberal elite that continue to push the global warming myth on anyone who will listen, as I’ve explained in the past, are only out for for your money and control over your lives.  Any possible technology that promises to solve the so-called cause of anthropogenic global warming, namely greenhouse gas emissions, are dismissed by the climate change alarmists even before they see the light of day.  And as much as the alarmists blame big oil for a lack of real innovation in renewable energy, they too are just as …

This is a fascinating letter from the Viscount of Monckton of Brenchley to John McCain regarding global warming.  In it, sea level, global temperature, greenhouse gases and glacial melt are all discussed.  This is a very informative read for any of you in doubt about whether or not “man-made” global warming is a fact, or just another political fallacy generated by those who want your money and control over your lives.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide is now at 383 parts per million and total atmospheric greenhouse gas is at 410 parts per million.  According to the latest UN report, if these greenhouse gases rise to 450 PPM, “the world risks mass extinction of species and temperatures would soar more than 2.5C.”  Emissions are on the rise at an annual rate of 3.5%, despite the fear-mongering cries of global warming activists.  With sea level rise hardly measurable and very short of predictions, maybe many around the world just see man-made climate change on …

After Al Gore’s Oscar-winning performance in An Inconvenient Truth telling the audience that sea-level worldwide could rise 20 feet, Science magazine has come out with a report that says sea levels will rise even higher than expected - up to 200 centimeters which, according to my calculations, is about 78-odd inches or six-and-a-half feet. Or was Gore simply overstating predictions just to get us scared and into action?

The greenies are at it again. This time, Victoria, Australia is halted the building of six coastal homes due to the threat of increasing storm severity and rising sea levels caused by climate change. If they can do this, are you ready to have your home taken because it’s in an inconvenient spot and could be subjected to threats made possible by global warming?

(H/T:  Tom Nelson).  Science is wrong again.  After predicting that global warming would cause sea levels to rise and areas like Bangladesh would surely be underwater, the opposite has happened:  Bangladesh is actually gaining land.  Scientists have studied 32 years’ worth of satellite imagery and found that Bangladesh is gaining 20 square kilometers of landmass annually.  The IPCC predicted that Bangladesh would lose 17% of its landmass by 2050 due to anthropogenic climate change.  While we’re not in the year 2050 yet, I think we can call this myth busted.

The theories surrounding melting ice rushing down cracks in glaciers leading to a melting snowball effect are wrong, according to this article.  Glacial movement in Greenland has slowed by about 10% over the last 17 years, instead, leading us to believe that scientists don’t always know what they’re talking about.  Greenland’s not melting into the ocean and sea levels aren’t going to rise 20 feet worldwide, no matter how much Al Gore preaches it.

Oh give me a break.  The latest research indicates, according to this article, that by the year 2100, sea levels will have risen three feet.  To save all of humanity from the global warming crisis, architects have designed floating cities.  Wait.  Three feet?  I thought it was 20 feet?  That’s what Al Gore told us!  From the article:  ‘I think trying to accomodate the millions of people left homeless by environmental changes will prove to be one of the great challenges of the 21st century.’  Are we going to have …
