Hurricane Bertha, now back to a Category 1 hurricane after reaching Category 3 strength, didn’t really last long enough for much of the mainstream media to blame it on global warming.  And, as is typical of the climate change craze, there was really no reason to do so.  Hurricane Bertha didn’t make land fall and didn’t cause any widespread catastrophes that would give fodder to the global warming movement.  There will be more hurricanes, though, and more opportunities for the environmentalists to make their claim that hurricanes are truly a product of man’s selfish lifestyles and lack of compassion for the planet.
