New Zealand Government’s Windfall Profits Carbon Tax

The government of New Zealand could get rich quick off a proposed emissions trading scheme, according to this article.  Depending on the cost of carbon credits, the government could receive anywhere from $21 billion to $42 billion over the next 20 years.
