The BBC recently aired a program on climate change that was supposed to provide a balanced view of global warming.  Instead, the audience was treated with scientists that were depicted to hold the moral high ground while skeptics of climate change were politically and financially-motivated.  I suppose the only way to debunk the skeptical opinion of global warming is to name-call and provide a generally unappealing view of us.

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Name-Calling »

God bless the global warming activists.  It must be tough having to defend their positions daily all while trying to indoctrinate new members into their modern-day good ol’ boys club.
While we all know Al Gore stands to profit from the global warming machine due to his investments in companies that produce carbon credits and green technologies, the same isn’t true in reverse.  Many of the folks I know that remain skeptical about anthropogenic global warming are just like you and me.  Some of them are married and some have kids.  …

Excellent piece here on the bullying that takes place when the subject of global warming is at stake.  NASA scientist James Hansen is at the forefront of this controversy, calling for a high-crimes trial for those who deny global warming for endangering the lives of others.  Anyone who questions the science behind global warming are labeled deniers.  I thought skepticism in science was good.  It allows for new ideas and a better understanding of the subject.  Except when it comes to climate change.

The ecolibs are up to their usual stunts again, referring to golfers as “stupid” because they don’t believe in global warming. More name- calling from NPR.

A senior bishop in the Church of England has said those who deny climate change are just as bad as Austrian father Josef Fritzl, who locked his daughter in a cell for 24 years, repeatedly raping her and fathering her children.  He went on to say that global warming deniers aren’t looking out for the future of their children, just like Fritzl.

Sixth grade students at David A. Brown middle school in California wrote letters to the Heartland Institute in Chicago for not towing the Al Gore line of anthropogenic global warming. The students called the members of the institute “fools” and “horrible people”. I see that the hard-earned money of California taxpayers is going to a good cause: promoting hate and intolerance.

Ah the loony left. All of us in the conservative base have been calling attention to the fear mongering by the environmentalist left for some time. Now the old addage, “if you can’t beat them, join them” rings true. Sensing that their global warming push is going nowhere, the ecolibs have resorted to more name-calling. I guess originality isn’t their specialty.

Another Operation Desperation update: the myth of man-made global warming continues to unravel, folks, and now the desperate left- leaning environmentalists have resorted to name-calling again. First, Al Gore referred to skeptics of global warming as flat-earthers and moon landing hoaxers during a recent appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes. Now they’re at it again. This time the libertarians are under attack and are being ridiculed for their blind faith in global warming skepticism, …

Evidently the environmental crowd isn’t shy about calling us names. In the cartoon below, a human is depicted as being of lesser intelligence than the planet on which he lives. The way I see things, Humans > Earth > Global Warming/Green Movement Hysteria to Save the Planet, but that’s just me.

What happens when you don’t believe in global warming? The same thing that happens when you don’t agree with any environmentalist: you’re called a name. What’s the latest name? It’s more like an apples-to- oranges comparison: global warming deniers are like Holocaust deniers. I find very little in common between the murder of six million Jews and a global tax and lifestyle change.
