It won't be ocean water that we will be drowning in, but a flood of dis-information and down-right lies if our western culture of tabloid journalism doesn't turn around soon. Two conditions are needed to change this abismal "news" condition: 1) the availability of factual information and reasoned analysis and 2) the general populace decideing that it is not willing to accept being lied to.
