And, among other things, carbon dioxide is a trace gas. Â For every 100.000 molecules of atmosphere, 38 (just 38, not 38,000) are carbon dioxide. Â With it being such a tiny part of the overall atmosphere, how can it possible cause so much harm? Â It can’t, according to Coleman.
