I agree that natural cycles have led to mass extinction. Also mankind is just another force of nature.
We are the force that helps invasive species migrate. We are the species whose cities are massing heat and building barriers to migration. We are the monoculture masters, hundreds of square miles of corn, laying waste to biodiversity.
We overfish species to extinction. We dump mountain ranges of garbage and waste into heat piles that off-gas billions of metric tons of methane.
And as all societies before, the faster you grow, the quicker you burst.
As weather is unpredictable, so will be the outcome of consistant weather modification. Auto exhaust is an ongoing experiment, just as cell phones. We’ll see who wins and who loses.
During the 70s and 1980s those poor people of the Sahell watched their annual monsoon fail and their people wither and die.
That drought has been attributed to dirty coal and leaded gasoline in the first world countries.
How?
It cooled the Atlantic by creating reflective clouds that impacted the monsoon, causing it to move south instead of north.
For 20 years we did it and couldn’t be bothered.
Today we deny it. Today we invade countries to steal their oil. Now Russia is joining in. Thank God we have some competition. I was getting tired of being the only pig on the planet swimming in our own feces.
What goes around, will come around.

Temperatures have dropped considerably since Gore released his An Inconvenient Truth film. And, as many of you global warming activists say, you can’t base global warming on short trends. So while July temperatures are up a bit, the overall trend from the last few years shows a steady decline.
