As is typical of the global warming activists, their focus on the single subject of climate change blinds them to the whole picture. Enacting legislation to curb carbon emissions has a long and lasting effect on industry, the economy, jobs and food. The U.N. recently sent 9000 troops to Haiti to control protests over food prices where many earn just $2 a day. There’s a real risk of starvation but, once again, the left-leaning global warming activists are either ignorant of, or don’t care about, the immediate needs of humanity as long as their agenda is fulfilled. Recently, Al Gore announced a $300 million campaign to promote his global warming agenda. How about another $300 million to feed the poor your agenda is starving, Al?
