Today’s Lebanon Democrat column: “Promotion of ethanol contributed to food crisis”

Finally the Democrats are waking up to the problem they caused due to the global warming hoax:  soaring food prices and starvation from ethanol mandates.  Thanks to most of the liberals, and some of the conservatives, including President Bush, who signed a mandate to increase ethanol use, the poor can no longer afford food and riots are happening in the streets of countries across the globe.  Corn, the most-used ingredient in ethanol, has risen in price from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel over the last three years.  Corn isn’t the only staple affected by ethanol, however, as wheat, soy, beef and egg prices soar from the trickle-down effect.
