The Carbon “Underground”

The Department of Energy recently awarded $126.6 million in grants to fund research into storing carbon dioxide gas underground in California and Ohio. Locations of power planets, oil wells and geological formations have been mapped across the United States as potential underground carbon dioxide storage facilities.
