The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will be studying the regional effects on the economy due to climate change in Latin America and the Caribbean. The study will be funded by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID). I wonder how many British citizens would like a tax refund rather than studying the economic effects of global warming on regions on the other side of the globe?
