Liberal Columbus, Ohio Mayor Michael B. Coleman has stepped up the city’s “Get Green Columbus” program by recognizing businesses that have made an effort to become more environmentally friendly.  Coleman hopes that potential customers will patronize those establishments asking that residents “support them, buy from them, visit them and thank them.”  I’m sure the expense each business has incurred to make themselves more green is passed on to the customers.  Will these higher prices drive consumers to lower-priced alternatives?
