The Times Online is reporting that the three limosines being manufactured for Barack Obama are probably based on the GMC 2500 body, which gets about 10 miles per gallon. Change we can believe in?

Please be careful not to stoop to the same level of the Liberals.
Mr. Obama is going to need a extremely secure vehicle. There is an off chance a disenchated radical Muslim will take a pot shot at him as an apostate and traitor. I don’t personally agree with his policies or trust him but it is unthinkable of the chaos that would ensue if something would happen to him. I can understand this order is not for show or out of ignorance. This is not qualify as a story any more than the Sarah Palin scandals.
If it were unavoidable, I wouldn’t have even blogged this article. However, if you read the linked article on this post, you’ll see that a hybrid version of the vehicle is available and customizable for Obama. Sounds like he just wants a gas guzzler to me.
