From “why is Mars warming too” to “are you sure humans are the cause of global warming”, they’re all here. But the debate is over, you see, so don’t expect Gore to answer any of these questions anytime soon.

There is information that goes against climate change, but more that is for it. Your ideology cannot seem to see that.
Here’s the thing, Bahram. You’re right about something, and that is that there is evidence that points to a non anthropogenic cause of global warming. Read through this blog and you’ll see that I have a serious problem with those pushing this hoax on everyone not allowing it to be debated. Certainly someone of your intelligence, albeit misguided in my opinion (I read some of the entries on your blog) can understand that in science many things are uncertain and are, at best, theories. Climate change is the untouchable subject, though, even with evidence that contradicts it. String theory, the Big Bang theory, parallel universes and time travel, all subjects of scientific study and all are up for discussion. Why is climate change the exception? The point of this blog is not to discuss the pro-climate change stuff. It’s to discuss evidence that opposes the theory. I make no claims to be unbiased, and never will.
The difference between discussing and not acting on the big-bang theory is that there is no action to be taken upon it. Like so much of science, the research they do on that is almost completely useless. What’s useful is a scientific theory that can be acted upon. If too much gov’t intervention is the worst possible thing that could happen, what is too little? I wouldn’t argue for huge economically devastating interventions, (partially because they would never be acted upon) but some intervention… You might be though. It could all end up being a waste, but don’t call yourself a skeptic when you’re so certain that global warming is ***********. I’m a skeptic because I don’t think anything too drastic should be implemented. Not implementing anything is moronic; not skeptic. Sitting on our hand when crisis could be looming is not about debate, it’s about lunacy.
Comment removed due to vulgarity.
You’re confusing the meaning of the word “skeptic”. Rather than argue over the English language, I’ll dispute one of your other points. If too much government intervention is the worst possible thing that could happen, what is too little? We’ve seen government’s hand intervening in the theory of global warming already. Food prices skyrocketed and riots broke out. Electricity, along with tangible goods, will rise in price as carbon taxes and/or cap-and-trade systems are put in place. Plus, the claims of increased, more-intense hurricanes due to global warming is untrue, but it has been presented to the public as fact to get us moving on global warming. Why do politicians have to lie to get people’s attention? Either the problem must not be that dire but it will OR there is a power grab/income generation potential from it. Seeing as how climate models continue to be wrong, I’m betting on the latter.
And keep your language in check in the future. I’ve already removed one post and modified the other. Please read the comment policy at the top of each page.
