Al Gore is booked for an engagement at Harvard University on Wednesday of this week for the first University Celebration of Sustainability. This is the launch of Harvard’s new environmental/green/conservation/cut greenhouse gas initiative. Speaking of conservation, Al Gore is set to speak in Portland, Oregon this week at a fundraiser for Jeff Merkley, who is running for the Senate. Just how many pounds of carbon dioxide is Gore going to emit this week traveling back-and-forth across the country? Well, maybe he’ll learn the true meaning of conservation at the Harvard thing on Wednesday. Or not.
