Al Gore on 60 Minutes: Skeptics like Flat-Earthers and Moon Landing Hoaxers

Al Gore will make a timely appearance on 60 Minutes this week to discuss global warming. Gore compares global warming skeptics to those who believe the world is flat or those who think the moon landing was a hoax and that we’re in a vast minority. With scientific evidence mounting that anthropogenic global warming is a hoax, Gore is launching a $300 million ad campaign beginning next week featuring personalities such as the Dixie Chicks, Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich. Gore did donate the $750,000 prize money from his Nobel Peace Prize (which has nothing to do with scientific achievements, by the way) to a non-profit foundation formed by he and his wife, Tipper, called The Alliance for Climate Protection. It’s really too bad that the money raised by this foundation couldn’t be used for a worthy cause.
