Al Gore »

Gore spoke at Clinton’s Global Initiative recently and, among other things, said clean coal was dead and that the current power grid loses $120 billion annually and “needs to be replaced anyway.”  Also, Gore continued his rant that global warming is a crisis and that it is time for our youth to begin “civil disobedience” in shutting down coal power plants.  Can the youth also count on Mr. Gore covering their legal fees once they’re arrested and tried in court?

Al Gore »

[18 Sep 2008 | No Comment | 12 views]

As Vice President, Al Gore was chided by environmental groups for not doing enough for cleaner air and pollution reduction.  An editorial distributed in 1997 called President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore’s remarks about global warming “hot air.”  Gore even had to have a large media event to encourage him to attend the UN meetings that helped define the Kyoto Protocol.  Didn’t seem like Gore wanted to ruin his political chances with tackling climate change during his boss’s administration.  And he lost to George W. Bush in 2000 …

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Hurricanes »

[2 Sep 2008 | No Comment | 134 views]

WIth Hurricane Gustav dealing a glancing blow to New Orleans, the city won’t, at least for now, experience an event similar to Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  With Katrina being the poster storm of the modern global warming movement, I wonder where the global warming activists are with the latest round of tropical storms.  There have been Hurricanes Bertha, Fay, Gustav and now Hanna (recently downgraded to a tropical storm) so far this year that have been contenders for threats to the mainland United States.  Gustav only made the Democrats suddenly …

This 16-minute Google video displays some of the best comics and artwork I’ve seen and characterizes the global warming activists in their true light:  hungry for someone to blame, blaming every catastrophe on President Bush’s failure to sign the Kyoto Protocol (even after Clinton passed on it), Gore’s hypocrisy and environmentalists being genuinely happy when humans are killed in tragedies so that there are fewer people left to pollute the Earth.

Dr. Roy Spencer, former NASA scientist, testified that he was told what to say and what not to say when he worked with the Clinton administration and, at the time, he thought that command was to protect Gore’s environmental agenda.  But Dr. Spencer continues to say that any warming seen over the last 100 years is mostly natural in origin and may stop soon, if it hasn’t already.  Satellite temperature measurements haven’t recorded any warming in the last seven years.

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Mainstream Media »

[30 Jun 2008 | One Comment | 123 views]

I recently read an article (link no longer active) over at The Aviator Newspaper that really summed up the media coverage in this country on the global warming myth today.  It’s a chase to blame any type of weather event on global warming, regardless of whether or not it’s actually true.
I’ve said before on this blog that Hurricane Katrina was the poster child of the global warming movement in this country today.  Katrina, hardly the most powerful hurricane to strike the mainland U.S., was a category three storm when it …

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Government Intervention »

[23 Jun 2008 | One Comment | 262 views]

A few weeks ago, the U.S. Senate shot down the Lieberman-Warner bill with, quite frankly, little show of emotion from the Democrats and Republicans that supported the legislation to combat the global warming hoax.  With such a looming crisis on our hands, and with such dire consequences predicted if we don’t change the course of our carbon-emitting ways, why was there such little fight in a bill that was supposedly so important to the direction of our nation?  Even the (then) three Presidential candidates - Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton and …

Quick high-level: Clinton, Obama and McCain were no-shows. Would voting either for or against this bill hurt them in the Presidential election or could they not take enough time out of their day to vote for this bill? All three candidates are pushing for legislative action to stop global warming. Must not be that important, even if it was just a vote to move forward with discussion on the bill. (Original source).  Only 13 GOP Senators voted against bill.

Economy, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

[29 May 2008 | No Comment | 80 views]

Those left-leaning environmentalist types are a sneaky bunch.  Complaining about the current state of the economy while pushing legislation to stop it in its tracks.
First, the good news: (link no longer active) the U.S. economy grew more than expected in the first quarter, beating analysts expectations. We can all rejoice that it’s quite possible to avoid a recession, as defined by two consecutive quarters of negative growth.
While the Democrats continue to push any available news that the U.S. economy is in trouble and it’s the fault of the …

Representative Edward Markey (D-Massachusetts) is planning to file a bill to reduce U.S. carbon emissions by 85% in 2050. And here I thought the plans offered by Clinton, Obama and McCain would destroy the economy.
