Portugal is set to pay about 10 billion Euros between 2013 and 2020 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet the EU’s energy and climate pact. Electricity producers will pay the brunt of the costs, up to 6.6 billion, while industry will pay the remainder. Electricity rates are expected to jump six to eight percent [...]

The soon-to-be Democratic nominee says he will push hard to curb carbon. Big Government Barack wants to expand the EPA’s authority over greenhouse gas emissions if Congress won’t work out a cap-and-trade scheme to limit the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced by U.S. companies. Just another big government liberal that wants to take your [...]

I recently read a comment on the Internet from a global warming activist that presented that exact same connotation. If global warming turns out to be a myth, so what? The narrow-mindedness and intense focus of climate change proponents on one issue, global warming, has the potential to cause massive economic failures globally. The lack [...]

Let’s see if the liberal environmentalists take this story and run with it. A recent study found that immigration into the U.S. from both legal and illegal sources increases greenhouse gas emissions. While immigrants produce 18% less emissions than residents, they produce four times as [...]

South Carolina is taking a smart approach to the whole climate change effort, well, smarter than most other plans I’ve seen in various other states. Nuclear is part of the solution in the state with a mix of personal effort to help stave off man-made greenhouse gas emissions. The concern is to not [...]

More analysis from Alan Caruba: India and China have both not considered measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in an effort to stave off global warming. India has flat-out refused while China hasn’t shown any public interest in following the Al Gore movement.

The state of Kansas has proposed rolling back speed limits on rural highways from 70 down to 65 in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions. The proposal is expected to pass and studies have found that for each five mile per hour reduction in speed will save between seven and 23 percent in [...]

Rachel Carson, whose book Silent Spring helped ban DDT, penned one before Silent Spring called The Sea Around Us, that suggests ocean currents are responsible for climate change and makes no mention of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions as a cause.

Australian scientist Dr. David Evans says there is no conclusive evidence for global warming based on greenhouse gas emissions and that, in an effort to move quickly, concrete evidence was foregone. He continues to say that 2001 was the last warm year and temperatures have dropped to 1980 levels since then.

(H/T: Fort Fun): Link below to a fascinating research article on the effects of carbon dioxide on many observed environmental changes, such as receding glaciers and Arctic temperature, that proves beyond any doubt that carbon dioxide levels do not cause any of these things. Solar activity is also graphed against temperature as well as carbon [...]
