I received this a couple of days ago from reader Russell Cook and felt the need to share with everyone else.
My story of our local Arizona election results possibly having national or even global implications is at American Thinker.
It’s a simple story - the anthropogenic global warming (AGW) debate is supposed to be settled. But it never happened. To make sure it didn’t happen, it appears an attempt was made to get a highly funded pro-AGW candidate (with ties to George Soros??) into our Arizona Corporation Commission, an …

Time once again for your weekly global warming myth round-up, courtesy of Canadian site The Daily Bayonet. Here’s a sneak peak of what you’ll find this week:
The NAACP is honoring Al Gore.
Speaking of Gore, there’s a carbon trade swindle going on behind him.
Chris Horner introduced as a climate criminal. Horner is a skeptic, of course.
Is the IPCC just making stuff up?
Eco-terrorism. It’s Al Gore-approved.
Problems with ethanol are now being acknowledged.
The U.S. Navy defeats some environmentalists.
And an ozone hole has opened up. But didn’t we …

Proponents of global warming activism have predicted many places to be underwater due to rising sea levels caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions. The Maldives are no exception. The islands are slated to be covered in water by 2100 if the upper-end of the IPCC’s predictions about sea-level rise are true; the IPCC predicts that sea level could rise anywhere from 3.5 to 35 inches by 2100. But other research indicates that sea level hasn’t risen at all over the last decade. Present sea level was …

If you only read one post here today, this is the one to read. Here’s an excellent synopsis of the history around the IPCC models, the manipulation of data and conclusions drawn from the inability of models to predict global warming.

The IPCC released a report in September stating that historical views of the planet’s hydrological systems are no longer valid as we’re seeing dead zones where none were predicted. With the planet no longer warming and Arctic ice on the rise, can we go ahead and call all models based on historical record busted, too?

An Honest Climate Debate has a quick note here that Dr. Vincent Gray has updated his extensive paper entitled “The Global Warming Scam”, which disputes the IPCC claims of a link between greenhouse gas emissions and harmful effects on the environment. An Honest Climate Debate has a PDF link to download the updated paper from Dr. Gray.

Even after being busted for offering travel packages to exotic destinations via a 88-passenger jet to places around the world, the WWF continues to rank near the top of the list of environmental hypocrites, just under Al Gore. The organization is now saying that climate change is happening even more rapidly than the IPCC anticipated and we must all do something now before it’s too late. Listen, folks. This is simply fear-mongering. Global temperatures have dropped like a rock since 1998. Sunspots are at a minimum. Polar ice is increasing. …

St. Andrews golf course could crumble into the sea thanks to global warming, or not. It all depends on who’s right. If the IPCC and their predictions of a few inches of sea-level rise turns out to be correct, the golf course is safe. If we believe the Gore philosophy of 20 feet of sea-level rise, the course is doomed. But with science being wrong about Bangladesh losing dry land thanks to climate change, I think the course will live on.

Science really has a way of working together without politicizing an event when something needs to get done and a true crisis is on our hands. When people were dying in the early 1980’s for reasons unknown, scientists put their heads together and debated the cause and eventually came up with the answer - Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. There were no political struggles to squash opinions and everyone of any importance was heard. Today, we don’t have that luxury. Global warming has become the politicized event of the decade with …

Dr. Roy Spencer spoke in Houston on Tuesday to dismiss claims of anthropogenic global warming. He said during his speech that the IPCC models are clearly wrong. Results of ice core studies are in direct opposition to the theory espoused by Al Gore, who believes that carbon dioxide drives temperature. Spencer said temperatures precede carbon dioxide levels by 800 years.
