Protesters at a London meat market brought their vegetarian message and a hope of lifestyle changes on the masses. The group is calling for increased taxes on meat production and consumption, although they say they do not want to force lifestyle changes on anyone.

Al Gore’s best hope has turned into his worst nightmare. The economy, slowed by high oil prices and transportation costs, has turned people away from the green lifestyle in an effort to save money. Governments are quietly dropping green taxes and fees and those hit by the slow rate of economic growth are [...]

They’re starving back in China, so finish what you got, or so said John Lennon many years ago. Today, Lennon may have reworked those lyrics to tell us we’re causing global warming, so finish what you got. We’ll never know, but a study found that Americans waste [...]

Most of you that are skeptical of global warming see the explicit lifestyle choices being forced in your personal lives from new compact fluorescent light bulbs that contain mercury (and cost much more) to expensive gasoline that can be traced back to lack of action by environmentalists and the Democrats who love them. But did [...]

(H/T: Paul): Bloggers around the world are getting exposure as the number of blogs skeptical of climate change continue to increase. (Hat tip to Paul). Earlier today I covered a Telegraph article describing some exciting new technology that allows for carbon dioxide to be extracted from the atmosphere. Although the technology to pull carbon from the air to reduce the overall carbon dioxide greenhouse gas footprint in the atmosphere - the primary gas that is [...]

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed into law today legislation to drop all state taxes on cellulosic biofuels. The plan, which also requires heating oil and diesel to be 2% biofuel by 2010, would provide incentives to industries that produce cellulosic ethanol. The problem is, according to this Cato Institute article, that there is no cellulosic [...]

I found this little carbon footprint calculator at some pro-global warming website and thought I’d plug in my numbers to see how I fare when compared to the rest of the world. Even taking public transportation for the majority of the week and using substantially fewer miles on my vehicle than the national average, my [...]

Alan Caruba provides, as always, an interesting perspective on legislation designed to curb global warming, even though it’s a hoax. It seems that somewhere along the way, people have confused pollution control efforts with greenhouse gas emissions controls. It’s more brainwashing by the environmentalist movement to get you to care about having lifestyle changes implemented [...]
