Green activists EcoAmerica recently conducted a poll and found that only 18% of respondents strongly believe that global warming is anthropogenic in nature, is real and is harmful.  With all of the fear-mongering and propaganda that takes place daily around the world to scare people into believing this garbage, you would think this number would be higher - especially from a poll held by a group of environmentalists.  Either their actual readers aren’t their intended audience or people truly don’t believe in man-made global warming.

According to this article over at the Guardian, man-made climate change is causing seas to be more salty. Well, not the entire sea. A study conducted in 2003 found that the north Atlantic was freshening and causing salt levels to drop while areas in the tropics were increasing in salinity. Just as I thought I knew of everything caused by climate change, a new one just popped up:  an increase in crime due to global warming.  From carbon market fraud to an increase in violent crimes to looting after natural (note:  not called “man-made” yet) disasters, police forces are being prepped for such a crime wave.  Also, violent protests are expected if the government acts too slowly on climate change.

L. Graham Smith provides some useful analysis and commentary from an article originally published over at Anthony Watt’s blog on research that indicates the Arctic may have had less ice several thousand years ago.  The findings, if true, would strike another blow to the big bear that is global warming.  And while researchers blame what happened there on climate factors that differ from what’s happening today, it still makes one wonder if what is supposedly happening today really is man-made or just another natural cycle.

Thirty years of planetary cooling have all been wiped out and we’re right back to where we were circa 1979 when a noticeable warming trend took hold of the globe for a few decades.  According to the temperature graph posted over at Dollar298 (link below), any temperature increases seen since 1979 have vanished over the last four years with, most notably, no significant reduction in man-made carbon emissions.  Can we officially call global warming a hoax and get on with our lives, please?

Recently, I posted an article on how glaciers are now growing in Alaska all thanks in part, I’m sure, to global warming that just seems to cause everything now whether good or bad.  However, TigerHawk has some key information here on just how long glaciers in Alaska have been melting.  Turns out we’ve only been pumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere for close to one hundred years - and that’s a stretch, but glaciers in Alaska have been melting for 200 years.  Man-made global warming?  Farce.
