The NOAA has published a list of cold temperatures in the U.S. that have tied or broken records. It’s looking more and more like this winter will follow last year’s trend, even as global warming alarmists continue to say that climate change is even worse than predicted.

This article, from Heliogenic Climate Change, plots the predicted sunspot activity from NOAA and NASA and, guess what folks? They’re wrong. Not just wrong, but terribly wrong. While the organizations predicted a significant increase in sunspots over time, our sun rejects their reality and substitutes its own. These are leading organizations for studying climate and space, folks, and they blew the prediction by a wide margin. Why should these people be trusted to model planetary changes that, from a political perspective, only stand to increase …

The NOAA claims that the summer of 2008 was the ninth warmest on record.  However, according to this article at Watts Up With That, the satellite temperature measurements dispute this claim.  The NOAA claims the summer of 2008 saw temperatures at 0.85 degrees Fahrenheit above the 20th century mean of 60.1 degrees Fahrenheit.

These guys just can’t get their predictions right, so why even bother trying? The new forecast says there’s an 85% change of an above-normal season, up from 65% in May. The original forecase called for 12 to 16 named storms but that has been revised to 14 to 18 named storms, of which seven to 10 are expected to become hurricanes. The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration released figures yesterday saying that June was the ninth warmest June on record at 0.9 degrees (F) warmer than the average June.  But not so fast!  The University of Alabama at Huntsville presented their global assessment declaring June the ninth coldest in 30 years of record keeping.  A NASA satellite source pegged June as the 13th coldest on record in 30 years.  So who is right and if no one really knows, how can global warming truly be a crisis?

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Weather »

[14 Jul 2008 | 3 Comments | 436 views]

Taking a cue from recent research into tornadoes and global warming, I set out on a journey over the weekend to discover if a link exists between total hurricane strike count and global warming as well as hurricane strike intensity and global warming.  I’ve graphed the results of my study below.
Before getting into the results, however, I must point out a few things.  First, the hurricane data used for this study is from the National Weather Service’s site here and the temperature variance data is from NASA’s GISS website, which …

March across the contiguous United States was 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit below the 20th century average. In addition, March was the 35th wettest on record. Heavy snowfall during the December 2007 through February 2008 time period has left snowpack in the western part of the U.S. at the healthiest level in more than a decade with many areas above-average. Temperatures in the northeast United States averaged 1.9 degrees Fahrenheit below normal.

This NOAA article says that due to warming oceans, there will be fewer hurricanes in the Atlantic. But Al Gore tells us that global warming increases the number of storms? Granted the weather service’s predictions over the last two years have failed miserably, if I has to pick someone to believe, it wouldn’t be a politician from Tennessee.

January in the U.S. was cooler than the average January temperature for all of the 20th century. Mission accomplished, Al Gore! Can you stop with the hoax now?
