The $11 billion in annual subsidies given by the United States, Europe and Canada for plant-based biofuels isn’t doing much to reduce carbon emissions according to a report by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development.  They go on to say that carbon emissions from vehicles in areas where the subsidies are received are looking at a total carbon reduction of 0.8% by 2015.  Another failed attempt by the environmentalists to jack up food prices, starve the poor and not reduce carbon emissions.

I’m constantly amazed at the pure arrogance and hypocrisy displayed by the global warming crowd.  Beginning with Al Gore’s statement that the global warming debate is over to current day, the environmental left in this country, and world, show little regard for human life and, instead, use fear-mongering, incomplete data and pure speculation to push their agenda forward.  The ultimate goal of many in the higher ranks of the global warming hoax is to enact control of your lifestyle and your money through legislation.

More coverage of the ethanol backlash from Mark A. Rose’s Right Minded blog. It’s funny that the liberals pushing this global warming agenda think they’re saving humanity from disaster while all along they’re causing riots in the streets. It’s sad because the poor have a real chance to starve, but again, the left-leaning environmentalists fail to see, or they blatantly ignore, the big picture.
