The CO2 Science blog has a well-researched article here on the seeming lack of connection between Atlantic hurricane intensity and global warming. While it’s quite obvious just from studying data from the NOAA, this article is more technical in nature and explains the mechanics behind the missing connection. MIT researchers found no link, either, and MIT scientist Kerry Emanuel backed off his global warming-hurricane theory last year.
